My earliest introduction to flying was riding my tricycle up and down the aisle of my father's airplanes. To avoid the autopilot's constant trimming, he placed me on his lap where I first learned to fly by instruments because I wasn't tall enough to see over the instrument panel. I treasured being Dad's co-pilot while flying corporate executives and an NBA basketball team in a DC-3 in Indiana. I inquisitively asked Dad, "This is really cool. Now where do we go?" Dad said cautiously, "Careful son, it might just be downhill from here!"

Of course there have been many challenges to overcome since then, but I wouldn't trade my experiences for all the world. I have enjoyed flying, golfing, hunting, and fishing trips with Dad in a Howard 250, flying a Cessna 310 for a law firm, and even practiced insurance defense and family law myself in Florida. I married a gal from Oregon and we decided to venture out to the Northwest. I refocused on flight duties again including a Cessna 414 Charter service, demonstration pilot in a Cessna 206, and most recently enjoyed factory flight instruction in Cessna 350 and 400s in Bend, Oregon.

I lept at the opportunity to join Glass Cockpit Aviation in Sun Valley, Idaho. The majestic beauty of the great Northwest continues to capture my heart. Cammie has provided me with the opportunity to focus on flight instruction, chartering a Cessna 206 like my father did in his sunset flying years, and enjoying all that this backcountry region has to offer.

My family is widely spread out including grandkids in Florida, siblings on the Eastern Seaboad, the mid-west, plus Phoenix. My wife's family still routes us through Portland and extends to Alaska where we enjoy our vacations. Flying is not only my passion, it is a necessity in order to travel to all the families. I look forward to living out my family's aviation legacy here in Idaho.

So if you want to get checked out in a high performance glass cockpit airplane, explore the back country in a Cessna 206, or maybe we'll find a float plane here in Idaho. I'm eager to experience this wonderful country side with you. See you in Hailey!
