One-day Garmin 430 Training Course and Do you want to learn and understand the vast functions and tools of the Garmin 430? Most users are able to change frequencies and use the direct-to function, while the rest of this intricate tool is not used to its potential. Your choices for learning more about it are: read the manual, watch a video, struggle with a computer-based simulator, burn fuel while learning it in the aircraft, or sign up for our one-day class. Our instructors are intimately familiar with all the functions of this equipment, and will break down the functions in a one-on-one structured approach that will help you thoroughly understand its usefulness and potential. After this, you will put your understanding to use in our full-size Garmin 430 equipped iGATE simulator. Try out flight plans, com/nav functions, and fly approaches all over the US as you complete your training. There is no substitute for the actual use in real world situations, and by the end of the day you will be amazed at what you have learned. Do you need to complete an instrument proficiency check (IPC)? Add to this course some ground training in IFR procedures (included in price) and approximately 1.0 hours in our Garmin 430 equipped 1985 Piper Archer ($98 additional) and upon sucessful completion of the course our instructor will sign you off for an IPC, making you current for instrument flight. If you are not out of currency, the instrument approaches included in this course will count towards your recent flight experience required to maintain IFR currency. Are you currently working towards your instrument rating? The time you will spend in our simulator will count towards the hour requirement for the checkride. Search the web for a better training program. You won't find one that uses the actual equipment in a flight environment that comes close to the value of ours, and that's why we consider it to be the most effective program available. |
