4 Day Multi-Engine Course

Read one satisfied customer's impressions

In our 4 day multi-engine course you will acquire the skills to safely pilot a multi-engine aircraft.

The first day of the course will consist of all the necessary ground school, plus about 5 hours of multi-engine simulator time to equip you with the knowledge and understanding of the procedures that you will use in the aircraft. Our iGATE advanced ATD is an indespensible tool that will enable you to learn more efficiently and effectively, allowing you to practice the required manveuers and experience various possible emergency flight scenarios, while learning to effectively analyze and manage these situations. Thorough training in the simulator will maximize your training in the aircraft.

This is an instrument intensive course (unless you are a VFR pilot), so your instrument proficiency level will greatly affect your level of success in the course. We recommend arriving a day early for an instrument refresher if you are not instrument proficient/current ($495/day). If you choose not to use this option, please be sure to familiarize yourself with the ILS 10R and VOR DME 10R instrument approaches into the Boise Airport.

Day 2 and 3 will be spent in the Seneca II, for 6 to 8 hours of flight time.

Day 4 is reserved for your multi-engine checkride. (1.5 - 2.0 hrs approx.)
